Jul 13, 2004 : Superb Buys Hosting Unit of CoveSoft

📅 July 13, 2004 - Web hosting provider Superb Internet (superb.net ) announced on Tuesday that it has acquired the Web hosting division of Cove Software Systems (covesoft.net), a dedicated server specialist. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

"As an industry leader, we are constantly looking to acquire quality hosting clientele who are seeking the quality of service and network connectivity which has made Superb Internet 'Ahead of the Rest' in the hosting marketplace," says Haralds Jass, president and CEO of Superb Internet. "Acquiring CoveSoft and thus adding over 150 MB/S of traffic to our network and nearly 200 more client servers to our DCA2 data center is a move that we are happy to make as a part of our continued rapid expansion. We are confident that CoveSoft clients will further grow their business with us, thus furthering our growth, given the high level of service that we provide."
Superb Internet, with data centers in Washington, DC and McLean, Virginia, said it is moving all of Cove Software's dedicated servers to its Virginia-based data center. Cove Software's servers are currently housed in a facility in Annapolis, Maryland.
