📅 August 15, 2007 - On-demand services delivery provider Jamcracker (jamcracker.com) announced on Tuesday that it has partnered with software-as-a-service provider kitASP (kitasp.com) to provide communications service providers, ISPs and IT service providers in Japan with an on-demand catalog of packaged and custom application services.

Under the partnership, the companies are offering over 100 application services from the Jamcracker Services Delivery Network catalogue and kitASP applications. The integration of the JSDN and kitASP's application deployment infrastructure enables service providers to combine packaged software services from industry leaders including Microsoft, McAfee and WebEx with custom third party applications developed for the Japanese market.

"This partnership with kitASP enables Jamcracker to expand into the Japanese market with a one-two punch that combines our packaged application services with on-demand versions of localized Japanese software products," says Steve Crawford, VP of marketing for Jamcracker. "We are pleased to be working with the leading provider of on-demand application services in Japan and a partner that has established relationships with the country's leading communication and IT service providers."

Jamcracker recently partnered with McAfee to offer the McAfee Total Protection for Small Business solutions through the JSDN.
