Jul 27, 2004 : CyrusOne Picked for Citrix Conversion

cyrusone.com logo📅 - Managed hosting and colocation provider CyrusOne (cyrusone.com) announced on Tuesday that it has partnered with industrial distributor DXP Enterprises to migrate and convert its Citrix servers to a thin-client environment. CyrusOne will update the software and licenses during the conversion and streamline the servers in use.

"Knowing that DXP was specifically interested in converting their Citrix servers and expanding their thin-client environment allowed us to develop a finely tailored solution," says Blake McLane, vice president of sales for CyrusOne.
CyrusOne will provide remote management of DXP's Citrix servers, a key selling point, according to DXP. In addition, CyrusOne will provide a range of managed services, including performance management, reporting and trending, patch management and change management.
"We look for partnerships with vendors like CyrusOne whose core competency is bringing us value in the specific area we are looking for. In this case it was remote monitoring and Citrix implementation," says Suzie Dahle, vice president of information technology for DXP.
