(carpathiahost.com) has chosen RouteScience Adaptive Networking Software to provide the "smarts" behind its Carpathia Intelligent Routing Network and help it achieve a competitive advantage.
RouteScience says its ANS allows Carpathia to deliver 100 percent network uptime and high-quality bandwidth to its customers, making it appropriate for online games, video streaming, ad serving and other applications that demand the fastest network routes. Built exclusively on N+1 redundant, hot failover Juniper Networks hardware, CIRN uses RouteScience ANS to monitor and analyze traffic flows across each of its 21 transit and peer providers for latency, jitter and packet loss. These base level network parameters are then processed through a series of ANS application models that determine whether the providers are delivering adequate levels of service for the specific multimedia, VoIP, Web and enterprise applications. In the event that a provider's service is not meeting business policy objectives, RouteScience ANS will redirect the path to an alternate provider, ensuring that the highest levels of performance.
