📅 August 30, 2004 - Central Command (centralcommand.com), a provider of Linux, FreeBSD and OpenBSD antivirus solutions, announced on Monday that Spanish Web and application hosting provider Acens Technologies SA (acens.com) has chosen to deploy Vexira Antivirus for Linux to defend its email infrastructure.

Vexira Antivirus includes virus scanning of all inbound and outbound email, configurable warning notifications, heuristic virus detection and full automatic updates of the scan engine and virus definition file. The solution, says Central Command, supports the Linux x86 platforms Redhat, Red Flag, SuSE, Debian, Gentoo, Mandrake and Slackware.
