Sep 7, 2004 : Sendmail Appoints Two New Executives
📅 - Message management solution provider Sendmail Inc. (sendmail.com) announced on Tuesday that it has appointed Glen D. Vondrick as SVP of worldwide field operations and Derek M. Fairchild-Coppoletti as CFO and EVP of corporate development.
Vondrick is a veteran in the messaging security industry with more than 25 years of high tech experience, and was most recently president and CEO of FaceTime Communications, a provider of real-time security and management solutions. Vondrick has also held senior executive sales operations positions at Inference Corporation (acquired by eGain Communications in 2000), Autodesk Inc. and Ithaca Software (acquired by Autodesk in 1993).
Fairchild-Coppoletti joins Sendmail from Critical Path, a global provider of digital communications software and services, where he was VP of corporate development. At Critical Path, he was responsible for mergers and acquisitions, licensing and distribution agreements, outsourcing and strategic sales.
Fairchild-Coppoletti also served as VP of Vectis Group, a global technology enterprise builder, where he was one of four principals managing its global investment consortium. Fairchild-Coppoletti has also held positions at Lionbridge Technologies, Morgan Stanley Venture Partners and Morgan Stanley Capital Partners.
