📅 October 18, 2004 - Last Digital Ltd. (lastdigital.com -> fasthosts.co.uk), an Internet service provider, announced on Monday that it has recently become an ISO 9001 registered Company. Last Digital received its registration from Certified Quality Systems after it assessed the companies' quality system and found it to be in compliance with ISO 9001: 2000.

Developed by the International Organization for Standardization, ISO 9001 is a quality assurance model, made up of 20 sets of quality system requirements and applies to organizations that design, develop, produce, and provide services. To achieve ISO 9001:2000 registration, a company must assess its quality system, which includes documented procedures and operations from every department with a focus on customer satisfaction and continual improvement of processes and procedures.
ISO also expects organizations to apply this model, meet these requirements, and continue to maintain and improve its quality system through ongoing development.
