👈 Official Responses: 0) announced on Wednesday that it has launched "A Web Site for Every Business," a campaign that is designed to help small businesses and entrepreneurs establish a Internet presences.
Hostway says it is launching the initiative in partnership with chambers of commerce around the country. Through the program, each participating chamber will be able to provide its members with free Hostway Web hosting services for six months, a value of $120. Participants will also be able to offer their members access to Hostway's Site Builder, a value of $24, in addition to a selection of educational material from Hostway on topics such as Web site marketing, search engine optimization and using value-added services to attract clients.
"Many small business owners feel they need to be tech savvy to have a Web site. The mission of this campaign is to overcome that illusion by educating small business owners on the simplicity behind creating a Web site," says John Lee, vice president of marketing at Hostway. "Hostway's goal is to raise awareness about the great value the Internet can bring to small businesses. This way we can truly provide a Web site for every business."
Hostway is offering the first chamber of commerce in each region (Midwest, East, West, and South) to enroll 50 members in the Hostway program between October 25, 2004 and March 1, 2005 a $2,500 prize.
Chambers of commerce can sign up for the program at Hostway's Web site.
