Feb 15, 2005 : Netvention Giving Free Lists to Brokers

📅 February 15, 2005 - Netvention (netvention.com), a provider of services for finding, extracting and harvesting business information from the Internet, said on Monday that it is giving away 5,000 free records to first-time list brokers. The records are drawn from Netvention's B2B database, which the company says now holds information on over 2.4 million businesses.

Netvention's database is built with the company's patented extraction technology Netvention Extractor, which crawls the Internet, pulling important business information from company Web sites. That information is then used to generate e-business profiles and various other lists.
"This is an excellent opportunity for list brokers who are looking for a new source of proven and reliable data," says Tarik Qahawish, sales and marketing director for Netvention. "With Netvention's unique automated data gathering technology, not only are our lists refreshed more often, but they are also unique. Recent tests against other leading B2B databases show that 15 percent of our executive names are exclusive to our database and can be found no where else."
Nevtention's customers include Web hosting companies, e-commerce developers and other Fortune 500 companies. Webhosting Prospector, a Web hosting lead generator that leverages Netvention's database, is currently in beta testing.
