📅 April 18, 2005 - Data center and IT automation software developer Opsware (opsware.com) announced last week that Sallie Mae, a provider of education funding that manages over $107 billion in loans, has selected Opsware to managed its IT application infrastructure across a network of hundreds of servers and network devices. 
Opsware says Sallie Mae is using its technology to increase IT efficiency and enable compliance with both internal policies and external regulations such as Sarbanes-Oxley.
