📅 April 18, 2005 - Dendrite International (dendrite.com), a provider of Web hosting and other technology solutions for the life sciences and pharmaceutical industries, announced on Thursday that Pilbara Group (pilbaragroup.com) had selected it to provide managed hosting services. According to the deal, Dendrite will provide hosting services in addition to storage solutions, data cleansing and retrieval and analysis of data.
Pilbara Group says it selected Dendrite because of its high level of data security and redundancy, scalability and excellent help desk and technical support. "Pilbara Group is committed to becoming the world's leading provider of business intelligence applications by evolving our growth strategies beyond business modeling into simulations and predictions," says Lea Patterson, president of Pilbara Group. "To help us realize this vision, we selected Dendrite's proven managed hosting services to give us a sustainable and competitive advantage with the data security and reliability provided through its sophisticated data centers." Dendrite says Pilbara, a management consultancy and software development firm, is one the first clients outside of the life science industry to employ its services.
