📅 April 25, 2005 - Web hosting provider SiteGround.com (siteground.com ) announced on Thursday it has released a new hosting plan that optimizes server reliability, enhancement of the account features, value-price optimization and payment flexibility.

SiteGround says it has been upgrading its servers over the past few months. The new servers now feature dual Xeon processors and a guarantee of Web site speed. SiteGround introduced the RAID 5 massive with three independent hard drives, an effort to ensure that information will never be lost to a hardware failure.

The company has made a number of account enhancements as a result of these technical improvements. Its new package is priced at $5 per month and includes a free domain name. SiteGround has also increased the bandwidth from 20GB to 100GB and the number of databases was doubled from 5 to 10 MySQL or Postgre.

"We closely monitor our customer needs and the industry innovations. That is how we came up with the changes in our hosting offer," says Lilyana Yakimova, marketing manager of SiteGround.com. "We know that our customers want to get the best hosting at the lowest possible price. Thanks to our technical know-how and experience, we can now give them what they want."
