They have already started with the upgrades and expect them to be completed in about four months. The upgrades include SSD Hosting on all the different places and modern Linux containers.

Over the past few years, Siteground has put an emphasis on using the latest technologies. They have updates many different parts of their business and now they look to move to brand new Linux containers. These are the same containers often used in Cloud or VPS hosting.

The company already moved all their VPS hosting accounts to Linux containers in January, along with their Cloud Plans. This is a huge step forward for their shared hosting plans and provides many benefits.
