May 2, 2005 : WebSitePulse Adds Channels, Location

📅 - Internet monitoring company WebSitePulse (websitepulse.com) announced this week that it has added Microsoft, ICQ and Yahoo! instant messengers to its notification channels, and will be activating a new Washington, DC monitoring location.

In addition to the three popular Instant Messengers already added, the company expects to make AOL messenger available in the next few weeks. The company's notification system already uses such methods of communication as cell phones, SMS and numeric pagers. After tests with Yahoo! messenger ended in positive results, it quickly became a popular option among customers.

"Recently, a number of clients asked us about instant messenger?based notifications. We pay close attention to every recommendation or inquiry received from our customers, and the feedback is a primary factor in our decision-making process. We responded to this need by adding the popular messengers to our multi-channel notification system" said WebSitePulse CEO Iavor Marinov.

The company's new Washington DC location is the 15th in its global network, and the fifth activated this year. The company expects to have up to 30 worldwide monitoring locations by the end of 2005, and plans to add more locations as they are needed.
