📅 - VeriCenter Inc. (http://www.vericenter.com), a provider of advanced infrastructure for hosting Internet business applications, announced the opening of its second application hosting facility, located at the InfoMart in Dallas, on Friday.
The company is now offering its OpCenter brand of managed hosting services from both its primary data center in Houston as well as the new Dallas center. VeriCenter says the second facility will also provide it with the ability to enhance its remote mirroring and disaster recovery operations.According to VeriCenter, several of the company's customers have asked that it open a new hosting facility in order to accommodate their long-term fault-tolerance and disaster recovery needs. And VeriCenter feels the second data center will fulfill those needs, along with allowing the company to approach a broader market with its services.
The company says the Houston market has been great for VeriCenter, and believes that Dallas will prove to be equally rewarding. The OpCenter service is a hosting solution designed for advanced Web applications, eBusiness applications and enterprise Internet or intranet applications. The suite includes VeriCenter's ReportCenter, WatchCenter, SecurityCenter, ServiceCenter, SystemCenter and HostCenter services.
