📅 July 25, 2005 - Web hosting provider Rebel Networks (rebelnetworks.com ) said late last week that it would offer dedicated IP addresses with each of its Web hosting packages.
"We saw this as real eye-opener in the industry. Instead of asking our customers to pay for a dedicated IP, we have included it with every package we sell," says Marc Boudreau, co-founder of Rebel Networks. The company says customers will realize various benefits, including private SSL certificates for better e-commerce security, anonymous FTP, private domain name servers and more control over search engine results.
