Aug 18, 2005 : Comodo Releases Free Trustix Firewall

📅 August 18, 2005 - Internet security and authentication services provider Comodo (comodogroup.com) announced on Wednesday that the latest version of its Trustix Enterprise Firewall is now available free of charge.

Trustix Enterprise Firewall 4.6 employs XSentry, a drag and drop user interface. It enables administrators to visually configure firewall policies, demilitarized zones and virtual private networks, reducing errors that can occur with the more prevalent command line interfaces.
Trustix Enterprise Firewall 4.6 includes other new features, such as an enhanced multi-platform GUI interface, DHCP server and relay support, enhanced monitoring and alerts, advanced logging and other improvements.

Out of the 22,225,000 shares, the company sold 401,173 shares while certain existing shareholders of Tucows sold 21,823,827 shares.
