Aug 23, 2005 : Extraprise Picks AT&T Web Hosting
📅 - Global communications provider AT&T (att.com) announced on Monday it has been selected by business process outsourcer and systems integrator Extraprise (extraprise.com) to provide colocation and managed services to Extraprise's Insight-to-Interaction software platform at AT&T's Internet data centers.
According to the terms of the agreement, AT&T will provide Extraprise clients with high-availability and high-security access to software on demand. AT&T will initially provide colocation at its Boston-area IDC. Extraprise's i2i platform is an integrated set of software and services that automates the complete customer process -- from the origins of the raw data to the finished product of a high-value account.
The contract extends its previous agreement that currently includes telephone and broadband services. Extraprise also anticipates migrating some of its internal data center systems to AT&T as part of its corporate disaster recovery and business continuity plan.
"Extraprise performed a rigorous evaluation of hosting providers in both the US and Europe, and chose AT&T because it offers the most comprehensive solutions in Extraprise's most important locations," says William Blundon, executive vice president of Extraprise. "We were particularly impressed with AT&T's ability to provide complete solutions and a-la-carte services, as well as its high degree of professionalism and flexibility."
