Nov 8, 2005 : Accipiter, Web host Hostworks Partner

📅 November 8, 2005 - Australian Web hosting provider Hostworks (hostworks.com.au) said last week that it has signed an agreement with advertising technology developer Accipiter Solutions to deliver Accipiter's online advertising technology in the Australia and New Zealand region.

Accipiter says that prior to its deal with Hostworks, there was only one major competitor in the local market for online ad management tools. The company says customers in the region wanted a locally-managed alternative.

Through the new deal, Hostworks will provide both a site-side and hosted ASP version of Accipiter's AdManager tool. Accipiter says Hostworks is the first company to provide an Australian-hosted solution.

"Customers are demanding more functionality as they refine their online ad campaigns and seek to differentiate themselves from competitors as they compete for growing online ad dollars," said Klaus Bartosch, director of sales and marketing for Hostworks. "Our partnership with Accipiter will provide customers with unparalleled service and functionality. Most importantly, there is no ad-serving performance latency as is typically the case with competitive offerings that are served offshore."
