Jan 13, 2006 : Incognito Networks Buys SCPanel.net

📅 January 13, 2006 - Web hosting provider Incognito Networks (incognitonetworks.com) announced on Thursday that it had acquired all the assets of SCPanel.net, a Shoutcast control panel designed for the Web hosting industry. Shoutcast (shoutcast.com) is a free audio streaming technology developed by Nullsoft.

"SCPanel.net has done an amazing job producing the most feature-filled and wholly unrivaled Shoutcast control panel in the industry," says Elliot Bradshaw of Incognito Networks. "We're looking forward to working with the SCPanel developer team and taking this product to the next level. Watch for some truly remarkable changes with SCPanel in the near future."

Incognito Networks says the two technical support teams will be integrated in the coming months. Free SCPanel installations will soon be offered.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. SCPanel's development staff will be retained.
