📅 March 9, 2006 - Web hosting provider Re-invent (re-invent.com ) announced on Thursday it is providing users with free installation of the ASP.NET 2.0 PayPal Enabled Commerce Starter Kit on all Web hosting plans.

The free, open source e-commerce storefront is written specifically for ASP.NET 2.0, and features out-of-the-box product catalog and shopping cart functionality that enables Web site owners to set up, run and maintain an online store with little or no costs, license fees or limitations.

The ASP.NET 2.0 PayPal Enabled CSK includes a range of pre-built features including a product catalog and shopping cart, product inventory and order management, credit card processing via PayPal, login and anonymous shopping, customer purchase history, usage logs and an online demo.

Re-invent will install the ASP.NET 2.0 CSK to a customer Web site or sub-folder for free. The product requires the SQL Database add-on, which can be added to any hosting plan at $5 per month.
