📅 - Internet and network service provider SAVVIS (savvis.com) announced on Thursday that it has named Jonathan C. Crane to the company's board.
Crane will also serve as an executive officer and strategic adviser. He will report to Philip J. Koen, who was named CEO earlier this month.
The two executives replace former chairman and CEO Robert McCormick, who resigned last year after using a corporate card to pay a large tab at a topless bar.
Crane previously served as president of strategy and alliances for MCI, and worked on the company's merger with Verizon. Prior to that, he was the CEO of Web company Adero and software maker Marcam Solutions.
