May 16, 2006 : Opsware Incorporates In Japan

📅 May 16, 2006 - IT Automation software provider Opsware (opsware.com) announced it has officially incorporated in Japan as Opsware Japan Co. and opened a new office in Tokyo headed by its general manager, Naomi Tomita.

Opsware's operations in Tokyo help develop customer and partner relationships and provide support to Opsware customers throughout Asia-Pacific. Opsware has rapidly expanded its footprint in the region, signing several customers and partners over the last year.

"We are seeing a tremendous opportunity for data center automation and utility computing in Japan and throughout Asia-Pacific as enterprise IT environments continue to become more complex and highly distributed," says Tomita. "Incorporating Opsware in Japan accelerates our momentum and demonstrates Opsware's commitment to providing the highest level of service to customers and partners across the region."

Opsware's server automation system, network automation system and visual application manager are used by some 350 IT organizations to automate management of all areas of their environment, including servers, network devices and applications.
