📅 May 23, 2006 - Web hosting provider Network Redux (networkredux.com ) announced on Monday that it has introduced a developer-focused promotional offer that will last until the end of May.

The company says it has doubled disk space and quadrupled data transfer allotments for Virtual hosting plans until June 1, 2006. The company says its plans offer toolsets in multiple environments, including the increasingly popular Ruby on Rails framework and PostgreSQL database service.

"We have seen a substantial increase over the past quarter with regards to our developer enabled virtual hosting plans. More specifically, we have noted an enormous surge in Subversion and Ruby on Rails usage within our environments," says Thomas Brenneke, president of Network Redux. "Our group has historically contributed to open source developer communities, such as the ImageMagick and AdiumX projects, in turn these groups inherently drive a more sophisticated user to our network, one requiring a bleeding edge, yet finely tuned approach to shared hosting user space environments."
