Google Secures Power Deal for 890 MW of Additional Nuclear Capacity

📅 - Google and Constellation Energy have signed a 20 year power purchase agreement supporting 890 megawatts of additional nuclear generation on the PJM grid, with the first plant upgrade expected in 2028. The arrangement ties Google's expansion to investment in existing reactors, rather than new construction, but leaves questions about when individual data centers can access that electricity.
