📅 - RETN has strengthened its Northern European network footprint with the launch of a new terrestrial backbone route between Tallinn, Estonia, and Cēsis, Latvia, a move that was stress-tested almost immediately following a fiber outage in late 2025. The global network service provider confirmed that the newly built route was activated during pre-service testing after a break disrupted the primary backbone line, forcing engineers to reroute live traffic in real time.
