📅 - Subject to closing conditions, such as regulatory approvals, Millicom and Telefonica have reached a definitive agreement for Millicom to acquire Telefonicas controlling 67.5% ownership holding in Coltel, strengthening their presence in Colombia.
Additionally, Millicom has committed to paying the same purchase price per share as Telefonica for the remaining 32.5% of Coltel ownership held by La Nacin and other investors. According to the previous release, the $400 million purchase price would be $362 million as of September 30, 2024, subject to usual adjustments for working capital, net debt evolution, and fluctuations in foreign exchange rates.
