📅 - China has launched a pilot program aimed at increasing foreign access todata centersandcloud computing services, a rare shift for the traditionally restricted telecom market. The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) selected four zones - Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Hainan - as testing grounds. In these areas, international companies can establish wholly-owned data centers and offer online data services.
