GlobalNet Debuts PoP in Austria, Expands Network Reach Across Europe
📅 - GlobalNet has announced the launch of its first Point of Presence (PoP) in Austria, located within the Digital Realty VIE2 data center in Vienna. This move would mark a significant milestone in the companys expansion into Central Europe, enhancing its network backbones reach and connectivity capabilities in the region.
The new GlobalNet Vienna PoP will offer a range of high-capacity services, including the DATAIX Internet Exchange, which connects over 580 Autonomous Systems (ASNs) and manages a peak traffic load of 8.7 terabits per second.
