Sep 22, 2006 : General Dynamics Chooses Carpathia

📅 September 22, 2006 - General Dynamics Information Technology (gdit.com), a business unit of General Dynamics, announced on Thursday it has selected Carpathia Hosting (carpathiahost.com -> q.com) to provide engineering services and data center facilities in support of the US Department of Health and Human Services Grants.gov line of Business initiative.


Under the agreement terms, GDIT will use Carpathia Hosting to relocate and maintain the existing Grants.gov system through March 2007. The contract will also see GDIT build an improved Grants.gov system for delivery in March 2007 as well as provide ongoing maintenance and enhancements of the new system for the duration of the contract.
