Online.net Deploys AMD EPYC Processors In Its Bare-Metal Server Portfolio

📅 November 24, 2018 - Online.net (online.net ), a subsidiary of the French Iliad group and one of the world's largest hosting infrastructure providers with over 110,000 dedicated servers under management across five data centers, has deployed AMD (amd.com) EPYC 7000 series processors across several of Online.net's ‘Dedibox' Bare-Metal Server offerings. These AMD EPYC processor-based bare-metal servers are intended to boost Online.net's server lineup, meeting customer's memory intensive and large-scale workload performance needs.

By deploying higher core counts, I/O and memory bandwidth, Online.net aims to improve energy efficiency while increasing server performance.
