Cloud and Web Hosting Provider Aruba Plans to Invest 300 Million Euros in New Rome Data Center

📅 June 12, 2018 - Aruba, a large provider of data center services, cloud hosting, web hosting, email, certified email (PEC) and domain registration services, has announced the construction of its new ‘hyper cloud' data center in Rome. The launch of its fourth Italian data center – and the ninth for the whole European network – will complete Aruba's project to create a modern ecological network of data centers in Italy.

The new data center will be built in the Tecnopolo Tiburtino area in Rome and is expected to be completed by Spring 2020. It will be similar to the one Aruba opened last year in Milan. 📅 Oct 5, 2024 - Aruba Inaugurates 300M Hyperscale Data Center in Rome - Italian cloud, web hosting, and data center services provider, Aruba S.p.A., has unveiled its latest project - a 300 million hyperscale data center campus in Rome. The new facility, spanning 74,000 square meters, is located in the citys eastern Tecnopolo Tiburtino area.

Once fully operational, the campus will include five data center buildings, each capable of delivering 6 megawatts (MW) of IT power, amounting to a total capacity of 30 MW. Notably, all of this power will be sourced from renewable energy, aligning with Arubas commitment to sustainability
