📅 - The first energy efficient data center for Laos was opened recently. This landlocked country found in Southeast Asia is bordered by Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand and China. It has a centralized government and now it has an energy efficient data center.
The country suffers from a very poor IT infrastructure, but the state-run data center will help with the issue. The new data center was financed by the New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization and the cost was $850,000.
