📅 - Police Crack Down on DDoS Tools - Police agencies internationally are cracking down on people using DDoS tools. Europol announced Monday that 34 people have been arrested so far. Law enforcement agencies from Australia, Belgium, France, Hungary, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Romania, Spain, Sweden, the UK and the FBI carried out a joint operation to target individuals with access to the “Netspoof” stresser, which is a DDoS tool available on the dark web.

Most of the suspects have been described as young men under the age of 20.

Amazon announced the new data centers in a statement on Wednesday. The company hopes to expand their presence in the region and to stay head of the competition.

IBM and Microsoft Corp. have also decided to expand their presence in the UK as well.

The Amazon data region of the UK includes two time zones and contains multiple data centers. This is the 16th Amazon data center worldwide, and the third in Europe. The company is already planning a fourth European location in France and is planned to open next year.
