Deutsche Telekom is Out of the Running for Host Europe Group


📅 - Host Europe Group is up for sale and Deutsche Telekom has dropped out of the bidding, according to a report from Reuters. Cinven, HEG's private equity company, started looking for a buyer in April and Deutsche Telekom was supposed to be one of the top contenders.

Due to the valuation of $1.8 billion, the telecommunications company decided they didn't want to pursue the purchase any further. They believed it would be difficult to integrate HEG into their existing business and there wasn't enough growth prospects.
