Aug, 2016 : Fifth Australian Data Center Launched by Equinix

📅 August 23, 2016 - Equinix recently announced the launching of another data center in Australia. This will be the fifth data center for Equinix in the country and it will be found in Sydney. The company has invested $97 million into this data center, which is known as the SY4 facility. They even have 20 customers on board with Servers Australia as one of them.

Three other Equinix facilities are also found in Sydney and one other is found in Melbourne. As the world's largest data center provider, Equinix now has nearly 150 centers globally.
