📅 - Yahoo! Inc. is up for sale and the core businesses are “well along the way” in the process of being sold according to CFO Ken Goldman. Goldman didn't provide any specifics, but believes the process is going very well.
Marissa Mayer is the new CEO of Yahoo and after reviewing the options for the company in February, she decided it was time to start selling. Some pressure from investors and a failed turnaround were also contributing factors.
Those bidding on Yahoo's core business include Verizon Communications, YP Holdings, TPG and many others. .
