May, 2016 : Korean Cloud Data Centers to be Launched by Microsoft


📅 - The race to expand globally in the cloud hosting industry has Microsoft planning to launch Korean data centers. They are trying to keep up with the largest cloud providers, Google and Amazon.

While Microsoft Azure is the leader in physical locations for their customers, Amazon is catching up. They already launched in the Seoul region with cloud hosting in January. Today, Microsoft Azure is offered in nine regions in the Asian market.

All three cloud providers have ramped up their cloud data center construction in 2016.
