Major Cloud Security Certification from Government Awarded to Dell
📅 - Dell has officially certified their government cloud as it now meets all the federal cloud security standards. This process is called FedRAMP, which includes everything necessary to provide full security according to the federal government standards. The process has been criticized as too cumbersome, expensive and ineffective for cloud service providers.
With the certification, Dell's IaaS loud joins the list of just 27 services from 22 different companies to gain this certification. Others include IBM, VMware, HP, Microsoft, Oracle and others. .
