📅 - LeaseWeb recently announced they have launched a VMware-based private cloud offering called vCloud from their Singapore Data Center. It's available in the Asian market for businesses and will help with speed, cost and ease of deployment.
vCloud will also be able to be used to create a hybrid environment for those needing the cloud and a dedicated server. A full suite of private and public clouds will be coming to the Asian market from LeaseWeb by October of this year.

They will be laying off about 11% of the total number of employees by the middle of next year. The company is expected to save about $750 million from the layoffs and will be restructuring.
Intel was established in 1968 and its' head offices are found in Santa Clara, California. The company creates processing chips for PCs. The downsizing will mean as many as 12,000 people will be laid off and the company will be refocusing on cloud computing and IoT activity. .
