📅 - AWS may have General Motors, but Microsoft Azure has landed both Toyota and BMW. The vehicle manufacturers plan to use the service to help make cars smarter by setting the ground work for connected cars.
Along with Toyota and BMW, Microsoft Azure has also landed Nissan and Volvo. BMW will be using Microsoft Azure to power the Open Mobility Cloud. This is a new app recently launched that will offer “journey management” and travel planning for owners.
Toyota will be using the service to run the Toyota Connected program, which will provide multiple mobility initiatives. They will be working directly with Microsoft engineers on the project. .
