📅 - Google, a search and cloud giant, has recently been named as the most valuable company in the world. Replacing Apple, who took over the top position from Microsoft in 2010, Google reported fourth quarter revenues of $4.9 billion. Alphabet/Google has a combine value of nearly $570 billion, which beats Apples $535 billion value.
Apple has struggled with the heavy competition in the mobile phone industry, while Google has flourished. With increased online advertising programs, Google has increased its' operating income to $23.4 billion. .
