European and US Officials Miss Data Transfer Deal Deadline
📅 - Data transfer regulations have been in negotiations between European and American officials for a while. They stalled over the weekend as both parties missed the Sunday deadline set by the European national privacy agencies.
The report put out on Monday by New York Times stated the negotiations have hit many snags, including European citizens seeking redress over privacy violations.
A deal is expected in the next few days and meetings may start as soon as today. .
