📅 - Microsoft announced they have acquired Metanautix, a big data analytics company. The company allows data to be aggregated across different silos and into the petabyte scale SQL databases.
Large customers, such as Shutterfly and HP use Metanautix for seamless data supply chains. The technology will be brought to the Microsoft data platform including the Cortana Analytics Suite and SQL Server.
