Celebrate International Cheetah Day with Cheetah Conversation Fund
📅 - On December 4th, 2015, Cheetah Day takes place for the fifth year in annual observance. The occasion aims to teach young learners about the cheetah species while inspiring an excitement to be involved in conservation efforts.
The Cheetah Conservation Fund asks people to celebrate the annual observance day to generate awareness for the species since there are less than 10,000 left as it holds the spot for Africa's most endangered big cat.
The cheetah is the oldest and fastest of the big cats having survived over 3,000,000 years but numbers have declined by 90% in just the lats 100 years due to habitat loss and human-wildlife conflict. .
