📅 - CISA or the Cybersecurity Information Sharing Act will have a final vote on Tuesday. Many tech companies have urged politicians to reconsider the controversial bill because of the security and privacy implications it may have.
The Cypber Intelligence Sharing and Protection Act was very similar and it failed to pass the Senate. However the CISA is designed to help federal agencies respond to cyber security incidences. It allows for more sharing and collection of information about the different threats.
Companies, such as Twitter, Apple and Dropbox have made it clear, they oppose the CISA. Some say the act would change cybersecurity forever and could be detrimental to the privacy and security of all. .
