Technology Executive Joins DataChambers as New VP of Sales and Marketing


📅 - Today DataChambers announced technology executive Ken Chinchar has joined the company as its new vice president of corporate sales and marketing.

Chinchar joins DataChambers from Level 3 Communications where he was vice president and general manager. He previously served in corporate and regional executive positions with TW Telecom, a business telecommunications company acquired by Level 3. He also is a former national accounts branch manager with Cincinnati Bell and AT&T.

“Ken has a well-earned reputation for building and leading high-energy, high-performing sales teams,” says Nicholas Kottyan, DataChambers CEO. “We're fortunate to have him join us as we move into the next phase of our growth. With four data centers in three North Carolina cities, we're looking forward to new expansion opportunities, and we know Ken can provide the sales leadership we need to get us there.”

Chinchar is especially active in North Carolina's technology industry. He is a former chairman of the North Carolina Technology Association, and he serves on the board of advisors for both the UNC-Charlotte College of Computing and Informatics and the Queens University McColl School of Business. He also is a board member and executive team member with IT-oLogy Charlotte, a nonprofit committed to IT talent development.
