Cbeyond, Inc., a provider of voice, data and mobile business applications to small businesses, yesterday announced the addition of Tim Myers to its executive leadership team as Vice President of Cloud Engineering and Development. In his new role, Myers will be responsible for leading the design, architecture, engineering and development of the company's cloud solutions including cloud PBX, cloud servers and applications. Recently, it welcomed Chris Ortbals and Matthew Stevens to the executive leadership team as Vice President of Cloud Services and Vice President of Professional Services, respectively.
The company mentions that Myers joins it with more than two decades of engineering experience, including web hosting, e-commerce, database, hardware and software, and virtualization. Before joining the company, Myers served as Senior Vice President, Emerging Technologies, Enterprise Technology Infrastructure at SunTrust Banks in Atlanta.
