ServInt Completes Construction of New Data Center in Amsterdam

📅 - Advance orders being taken from customers seeking low-latency, high-availability hosting services within the EMEA region.

ServInt, a provider of managed web hosting for businesses worldwide, today announced that it has begun taking advance orders for hosting services in its newly constructed European data center in Amsterdam.

According to the company, it made the announcement last night at the Web Host Industry Review (WHIR) Networking Event in Amsterdam. Last night's event was the first of four WHIR Networking Events that the company is sponsoring in major European cities this month. The Amsterdam facility is the newest data center in its multi-national network. It enables the company to provide low-latency, high-availability hosting and cloud infrastructure services to customers who require their content to be housed in the EMEA region.

"Our servers are racked, our network is lit up and our critical infrastructure is in place," said ServInt CTO Matt Loschert. "We will begin offering full ServInt-quality, EU-based hosting services in a couple of weeks. While we wait for the last remaining administrative details to be addressed, we're taking advance orders from customers in the EMEA region - some of whom have been waiting months for this moment."

ServInt COO Christian Dawson added, "ServInt provides high-reliability, managed cloud, dedicated and VPS hosting services to business customers in more than 130 countries around the globe. We currently operate three data centers in the United States in locations that give us access to premium connectivity and the most highly skilled technical support. Those centers provide our clients with the best hosting experience possible. These are exactly the same reasons we chose Amsterdam for our Europe, Middle East and North Africa-facing data center. Amsterdam's available resources are unparalleled in the region."
