CoreLink Data Centers, LLC, a colocation provider, yesterday announced the executive promotion of Rick Crutchley in order to further continue its expansion into core data center verticals. The company says that Crutchley's new title is Vice President of Global Sales, an expansion of his duties from his previous role as Vice President of Channel Sales. His increased responsibilities include management, mentoring, and growth of the direct sales force and continued development and optimization of the company's indirect channel partnerships.
It avers that previously as the COO of managed services firm CyberTrails, Crutchley's responsibilities included leadership of a 20-person team in support of more than 150 commercial clients. He also had a successful tenure with Inflow, as General Manager and Director of Western Operations.
"We continue to see tremendous growth on the direct side of our data center business, and we wanted Rick to manage that expansion," said Charles Picasso, CoreLink's CEO and Executive Chairman of the board of directors. "During his tenure at CoreLink, Rick has showcased his deep knowledge of the industry and his ability to deliver on his aggressive revenue goals. Leveraging his experience in the data center service environment, Rick will help us continue our substantial sales momentum to expand market share throughout the industry."
